Oho Shawarma was born from a simple realisation by its founders — Saifuddin, Ansari, Yunus and Jafar — that India had yet to taste truly authentic, flavour-packed Lebanese Shawarma. What began as a shared passion for global flavours soon turned into a mission to redefine how India experiences this iconic Middle Eastern delight.

In 2018, our journey began on a humble food cart, serving freshly carved Shawarmas that quickly won people’s hearts. By 2020, we opened our first full-fledged outlet, bringing authentic Lebanese flavours in a modern, hygienic and convenient format. Today, Oho Shawarma stands as one of the fastest-growing restaurant chains, offering authentic and fusion Shawarmas through an innovative fast-casual dining experience. Who Made Oho Shawarma

Oho Shawarma is led by a passionate and experienced founding team — Saifuddin Basheer Ahmed, Mohamad Ansari, Mohamed Yunus and Jafar Salim Sahib — each bringing strong educational and professional expertise to the brand. Saifuddin, an MBA graduate with over 10 years of experience in the FMCG industry, drives the brand’s vision, operations and customer-centric approach. Yunus, also an MBA graduate, brings strong managerial and business development expertise. Ansari and Jafar, both engineering graduates, add operational strength, process discipline and technical efficiency to the business. Together, they have transformed Oho Shawarma from a humble food cart in 2018 into one of India’s fastest-growing shawarma chains, built on innovation, quality and a deep passion for great food.
